The aim of the course is to introduce students to the cognitive realities of German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg). Lectures are built on the comparative principle of selected topics.
Common and different elements of the cultures of these countries are compared. An integral part of the course are interesting facts that students can use in their German language teaching in the future.
The seminars then focus on the individual federal states or cantons. Geographical location of the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg).
The political system of these countries and their current position in the world and in the European Union. Their economic profile.
