1. Basic ecological and environmental terms and their context.2. Development of the relationship of man to nature and the environment. Global problems.3. Impact of anthropogenic activity on the environment (atmosphere, hydrosphere, pedosphere), shared responsibility for the environment. Voluntary agreements and approach to environmental protection. State - industry - consumer relationship.4. The necessity of interconnection of ecological thinking and social sciences. Psychology and ecology, environmental perception.5. Environment as a source of information. Environment and health. Social system and life world, environment and interpersonal interactions, human territorial behavior, problem of overpopulation, ecological psychology of privacy.6. State and problems of the environment in the Czech Republic, region and locality.7. Environment and children. Environmental education at schools.

Annotation

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to draw attention to current local and global environmental problems with emphasis on subjective perception of the environment and its impact on health.
