Annotation
The main goal of this course is to alter students’ perception of an open air (plein air) work as a „course of landscape painting“ in the view of 19th century, and offer them a landscape and nature, or even an artificial environment, as a spiritual, sensual and a visual artistic space for personal reflection and for a discovery of the personal authorial concept in social, cultural, and artistic contexts of the beginning of 21st century. Discovering hidden forms of reality (macro and micro world, a complex overview, half-detail and detail), artistic experiments and studies, which lead to open proposals of projects.
Understanding contemporary methods of comprehension and interpretation of a landscape and the position of a human being in it. Visual art communication through drawing, painting, photography and video, its analysis and use as a source of inspiration.
