Annotation

The content of the course is the reflection of the continuous outcomes of the study and their correlation. During the course of their studies, students are regularly required to document their own original work in practical courses and the process of knowledge in theoretical disciplines. The Art Portfolio course is an opportunity to reflect systematically on the different components of the study specialisation through selected concepts or their relationships. The purpose of the course is to formulate the basis of one's own teaching concepts in art education in relation to previous experiences and to become aware of the different components of art education. The goal is to develop the ability to reflect, generalize, think critically, and synthesize multiple sources. The principles are selection, interdisciplinarity, self-reflection, creativity. The course leads students to didactic reflection on artistic strategies, both their own and observed.

The portfolio is developed on three levels: artistic, art historical and didactic.

On the didactic level it is understood as a tool for pedagogical reflection and long-term planning of art education.

Following the process of developing their own professional portfolio, the key content of the course is the issue of evaluation and reflection in art education.

Students learn about formative assessment and become familiar with the possibilities of this methodology in the context of art education.
