Annotation
The course is focused on the theoretical basis of German written literature for children and youth: basic questions of literary studies (specific features and functions of this literature, psychology of reading) and genre composition (picture book, fairy tale, adventure novel, novel for children and youth, problem-oriented literature for young adults). The comparative approach and the intercultural context are relevant.
Course is taught in German.
