Practical seminar based on theoretical foundations and didactic knowledge of thematic and project teaching (integration of teaching across educational subjects, with emphasis on music education). The priority of the subject is the creation and realization (presentation) of model teaching in terms of thematic or project teaching with subsequent evaluation reflection. Emphasis is placed on the meaningfulness, intentions and "realism" of the lesson models.
Thematic learning, which offers learning in a broader context, and project-based learning that connects real-life learning, is an appropriate, effective and desirable alternative to traditional aesthetic teaching methods. The subject is two-semester, in the first semester the topics are focused on teaching at elementary school, in the second semester then on teaching at secondary school - in the time consistent with the teaching practice of students of the field.
