Annotation

The main aim of this course is: 1) to develop the didactic skills and thinking of ICT /Informatics student teachers so that they can develop digital literacy and computational thinking of primary and secondary school pupils, and to support student teacher´s didactic creativity. 2) to provide future teachers with deeper theoretical foundations of a field didactics focused on needs and specifics of teaching Informatics-oriented subjects and on realization of educational objectives of Informatics and information-technology education in education at primary and secondary schools.

The course developes knowledge and skills acquired in the study of general pedagogical-psychological disciplines and in the study of ICT / Computer Science or Informatics. It emphasizes a systemic understanding of teaching and explains the application and integration concepts of information-technology education aimed on pupils' computational thinking development. It introduces teaching methods, organizational forms and didactic principles and their specifics for the needs of information-technology education and teaching of computer science-oriented subjects with an emphasis on constructivist approaches to learning at primary and secondary schools and on teaching approaches supporting creative activities of pupils using digital technologies. The course also deals with specifics of a didactic triangle and didactic transformation of Informatics to school curriculum. The theoretical basis for the study of subject didactics focused on informatics will be transdisciplinary didactics as didactics, which is based on the study of content transformation in a relevant field context.
