Annotation

Piano: This course aims to introduce students to the basics of current piano pedagogy. The emphasis is put on applying the principles of current piano pedagogy in the beginning of piano studies. Piano lessons are not viewed as a mere application of certain procedures. Instead, they are conceived as a creative artistic process in the broadest sense. The goal is to cultivate talent, to stimulate students' own activity and to develop their creativity. Student’s own pedagogical experience serve as a starting point for further education. Last but not least, the goal of this class is to extend student’s knowledge of the field in general, including professional literature and its critical analysis.

Violin: This course is focused on teaching procedures in different stages of violin teaching, on different violin schools and national branches in European context. This course stimulates students' own activities in the field of violin teaching.
