Syllabus

Exercises:

1. Pranayama, selection of techniques suitable for physiotherapy

2. Forward bend position, selection, risks, modifications, corrections

3. Tilt positions, selection, risks, modifications and corrections

4. Rotary and inverted positions. Their risks and suitable choice for physiotherapy.

5. Relaxing yoga positions, different yoga styles and their influence and health.

6. Possible combinations of positions due to different diagnoses.

7. Contraindications of positions in relation to diagnoses. Hathayoga: asana, bandha, mudrá - complex of 10 bacis exercises: - pránájáma: bhastriká, súr jabhédana, uddžají - kryjá: hapalabháty, uddyjána bandha - mantra Far-eastern martial arts: - čchi-kung - tchaj-ti čchuan - pa-tuan tin

Annotation

The course in which the student builds on the knowledge of basic yoga positions in the subject “Oriental Methodology” is taught distinguish positions in the context of closed and open kinematic chains, correct positions with respect to physiology posture and choose a combination of positions due to the influence of possible pain syndromes of the locomotive apparatus. The goal is to gain critical insight into individual positions and use different positions for physiotherapy.
