The subject Gymnastics provides a basic theoretical and practical introduction to the register of basic gymnastics movement skills. During practice we include variety of the exercises: without an apparatus, with an apparatus and on selected equipment, which is performed with or without a musical accompaniment.
The content of the subject Gymnastics creates the prerequisites for conscious control of the movements of the body and its parts. During the lesson, the emphasis is placed on understanding the physiological effects of individual groups of exercises and the variability of their difficulty, on the acquisition of basic didactic principles during creation and the presentation of group exercises aimed at creating health-oriented exercise programs.
