Annotation
The course is focused on the role of sport and sport tourism in regional development using sociology of sport and leisure, and theories of regional development. Attention is paid to specific social groups.
The aspects of sustainable development are stressed. Using view of sociology, students are trained to apply gained knowledge in work of sport and sport tourism managers, mainly in public sector.
Using this knowledge, they will be able participate in the process of regional/local strategic plans of development and their implementation.
