Annotation
The course expands the theoretical background and professional skills of students specializing in swimming sports in the area of swimming technique, swimming didactics and sports training. The student will gain knowledge about the directions of research in swimming sports, which were mainly related to swimming technique, to the explanation of swimming propulsion, from 1950 to the present.
After completing the course, students should have basic knowledge of the development of swimming techniques, the scientific approach to the search for an explanation of swimming propulsion, and the current problems that the scientific community is solving in swimming.
