The course is defined as a continuation course for students that completed Hebrew language course on level Alef
(according to the Alef-Vav system accepted at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and in most academic institutions). The course focuses on improving reading, writing and speaking skills in contemporary Hebrew.
Participants will be able to use verbs (present, past and future tenses) in all active binyanim and partially in passive ones as well. Participants will gain abilities in diverting roots among binyanim (according to meaning, character and semantic fields), they will comprehend mid-level Hebrew texts on a range of different topics. Vocabulary and grammatical knowledge will comply with the Bet level of the Alef-Vav system.
