This seminar introduces selected short-story writers, their works, and the possibilities of text interpretation.
Emphasis is placed on common discussion in the class. At the same time, students will try to translate selected excerpts into Czech, and we will discuss the methods and possibilities of translating contemporary fiction. This seminar does not overlap with those of the previous years - it can be taken regardless whether one attended any of those.
