Module designed to provide general overview of long and complicated history of relations between medieval
Catholic Church and state, both on personal and institutional level, from the fall of the Roman Empire to the
Hussite Revolution and Reformation. It aims to reflect how these relations changed over time and how they affected Medieval society, both Christian majority and religious minorities.
Participation in this module may offer useful background for those preparing for Introduction to European History and Comprehensive Exam in European History in Contexts, both in its Czech and English variation.
