Anotace

Cílem kurzu je seznámit se s klíčovými koncepty, jež antropologům umožnili porozumět různým typů konfliktů, střetů a bojů v minulosti i současnosti. Kurz se zaměří na několik vybraných témat spojených s procesy marginalizace a odporu k nim ze strany dominovaných skupin, ať už definovaných kulturně, třídně nebo rasově.

Probírané příklady se budou týkat protikoloniálního vzdoru autochtonního obyvatelstva, rolnických vzpour nebo dělnických nepokojů, alterglobálního hnutí (Occupy apod.). Stěžejní náplní kurzu bude rozbor etnografických, obrazových i publicistických reprezentací odporu a jejich odlišných teoretických východisek.
