The course plays an integrative role in the study by connecting the various directions of research in issues related to longevity from a holistic (anthropological) point of view. In the introductory presentation and following discussion or co-presentation it will deal with longevity topics from the point of view of different perspectives including gerontology and selected geriatric issues with a social accent, disability studies, economics, philosophy andethics, law and anthropology, demography etc. highlighting specific theoretical backgrounds and various (qualitytive and quantitative, empirical and theoretical) methods and approaches. This course thus establishes the competence of students which, with their individual plan and topic of dissertation, applies to a particular discipline, and aims at perceiving research issues in an interdisciplinary context of the study of longevity.
