Annotation
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the historical and political formation of selected countries in the Middle East region with emphasis on civil society. The course is designed as an interactive lecture with an emphasis on developing critical thinking and analytical abilities of students.
Projection of documentary movies is integral to the course.
