Information for ERASMUS students
The Language Centre offers language courses at three levels according to students' initial skills. The courses are progressively structured (pre - intermediate, intermediate, advanced) and lead the students towards B2 exam (according to the CEFR).
There is also the option of attending specialised courses (FOJK). These are focused on developing students' academic skills and require advanced language skills. All language courses are offered to all students of the Faculty of Arts, including foreign students (Erasmus and other international programmes).

Courses organisation

The language of instruction is the respective foreign language (e.g. German courses are taught in German), except for courses at a lower level, which are mainly taught in Czech. Courses are not generally taught in English, with the exception of courses designed specifically for Erasmus students.

Courses taught in English:

German Course Level 2: Schriftliche Produktion für die Geisteswissenschaften (intermediate level)

The students are not advised to sign up for a particular course with the exception of German Course Level 2. They are invited to select a course corresponding to their initial skills and study targets. Their attendance will be confirmed by the teacher of the particular course.
Once the course requirements are fulfilled, the students acquire 3 ECTS credits

Informace pro studenty programu ERASMUS
JC nabízí kurzy tří úrovní vstupních znalostí. Kurzy mají progresivní charakter (mírně pokročilí, středně pokročilí, pokročilí) a vedou studující ke zkoušce B2 (podle SERR).
Kromě toho je možné navštěvovat odborně orientované kurzy (FOJK), které jsou zaměřeny na rozvoj akademických dovedností a předpokládají pokročilejší znalost jazyka. Všechny kurzy jsou otevřeny všem studentům Filozofické fakulty včetně zahraničních (program Erasmus a další mezinárodní programy.

Studenti programu ERASMUS, kteří navštěvují jazykovou výuku, se registrují on-line v IS.

Organizace kurzů

Jazyk výuky je jazykem cizím (např. německé kurzy jsou vyučovány v němčině) s výjimkou kurzů na nižší úrovni, které jsou většinou vyučovány v češtině. Kurzy obecně nejsou vyučovány v angličtině s výjimkou kurzů vytvořených přímo pro zahraniční studenty.

Kurzy vyučované v angličtině:

German Course Level 2: Schriftliche Produktion für die Geisteswissenschaften (němčina pro středně pokročilé)

Studenti se nezapisují do jednotlivých konkrétních kurzů kromě kurzu German Course Level 2. Zvolí si kurz, který odpovídá jejich znalostem a studijním záměrům, a docházku si dohodnou s vyučujícím příslušného kurzu.
Po splnění stanovených úkolů získávají 3 E-kredity.
