The graduates are equipped with language and communication skills in Czech and the Czech Sign Language and with broad philological knowledge and skills pertinent to Deaf Studies. They are prepared to work in contact professions bridging boundaries between the hearing majority and the deaf minority or pursues a subsequent master’s degree.
The graduate has communication competences in both working languages (English at EFRL level C1) and basic translation and interpreting skills which he/she is expected to be able to develop rapidly according to the requirements of the client / employer. The graduate ’s broad general knowledge foundation meets the requirements for higher degree studies.
