Graduates of the Bachelor’s degree in History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University have a grounding in the political, social, economic and cultural development of European and Europeanised society in particular. They have acquired essential heuristic and historical-critical skills they can utilise in further study (follow-up Master’s degree in History or related disciplines) in the Czech Republic and abroad, and in their practice.
Graduates have an extensive range of competences and a broad spectrum of methodological and special know-how. Single-subject study is thus a suitable initial stage for further History-oriented study but students also gain entry qualifications for practical work in museology and culture.
