Graduates understand basic sociological concepts and are able to describe and explain them and apply them to the description and analysis of social reality in mutual relations. They know the main schools of thought of sociology, the main authors and their concepts, including authors of the 20th century, and including their historical sources.
Graduates can also apply other aspects and possibilities of explaining social phenomena from the perspectives of related social and humanistic disciplines. They know the procedures of sociological research and can independently perform assigned tasks in the process of quantitative and qualitative research projects.
They are able to plan research strategies, assign research tasks and carry out basic analyses and interpretation of acquired data.
