Graduates understand basic concepts and are able to describe, explain them and apply them to the analysis of social reality, and in their context. They are familiar with the main intellectual currents of sociology, major authors, and their ideas. They know sociological research methods and are capable of independently fulfilling quantitative and qualitative research tasks.
Graduates have a basic command of Danish / Norwegian / Swedish equivalent to the B2 level of the CEFR and a grounding in Scandinavian life and institutions, literature, culture and history. They can pursue careers in companies trading with Scandinavia, cultural institutions, state administration, the media, the diplomatic service and in tourism.
