Graduates understand basic concepts and are able to describe, explain them and apply them to the analysis of social reality, and in their context. They are familiar with the main intellectual currents of sociology, major authors, and their ideas. They know sociological research methods and are capable of independently fulfilling quantitative and qualitative research tasks.
The graduate is equipped with knowledge of Russian language which matches the B2 level of the European Reference Frame of Languages. He disposes of knowledge about the area of East Europe. He disposes of necessary preconditions to continue in the follow-up M.A. study programmes.
