Graduates understand the key sociological concepts, are able to describe and explain them and to apply them in the examination of social reality. They have an understanding of key theoretical approaches in sociology, key authors and their concepts. They understand principles of social research and are able to autonomously perform tasks in quantitative social research.
Graduates have a sound knowledge of the foundations of Spanish linguistics and the history of literature and culture in Spanish-speaking countries. They have skills in Spanish at C1 level. They are prepared for study in master’s degree programmes and for a wide spectrum of domains which require a perfect knowledge of Spanish or outstanding general language competence.
