Graduates have a solid knowledge of both colloquial and literary Tibetan language, the history, literature and religious beliefs of Tibetans. Furthermore, they are acquainted with the principles of critical academic work with primary and secondary sources.

They are qualified to continue their studies in doctoral programmes at Czech as well as foreign universities or pursue academic careers in educational or research institutions. Possible careers outside the academia include diplomacy, humanitarian organizations, museums, tourism and the media.
