Graduates are qualified for independent work with the modern, standard Japanese language (both spoken and written), have a general knowledge of Japanese history, Japanese literature and modern Japanese society, and can seek careers in language-related services, public administration, diplomacy, tourism, mass media and business.
Graduates have everyday language skills in Korean and are able to read simple literary texts. They have a grounding in the region’s history, literature and society. Furthermore, they are acquainted with the principles of critical academic work with primary and secondary sources. They can seek careers in culture, education, social work, state administration and commerce.
