The MA graduate has deep theoretical knowledge of key areas of current political theories and is able to employ a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods and tools, e.g. content analysis, discourse analysis, process tracing, qualitative comparative analysis (QCA), as well as basic statistics. He/she is knowledgeable in currrent literature in the field of theory of democracy, political identities and history of political thought.
The programme supported the critical thinking of the graduate who is able to study various current political and social phenomena (e.g. impacts of environmental crisis, migration, wars, unequality, populism, crisis of democracy, rise of radicalism and transformation of political identities) from different perspectives.
