Graduates are able to independently apply and develop their advanced knowledge of Danish / Norwegian / Swedish language, cultural and literary history and current issues of Scandinavian countries. They are able to pursue careers in companies trading with Scandinavia, cultural and political institutions, the media, tourism, or as translators.
Graduates have achieved advanced language skills in ancient Greek, and good language skills in Latin. They have a broad knowledge of ancient Greek literature and history, and have received methodological training in philological methods and approaches.
