The graduate of the doctoral programme Applied Physics and Mathematics in Medicine and Pharmacy is prepared for independent or team research activities in a wide range of scientific fields related to medical biophysics, biophysics in pharmaceutical sciences, mathematical biology for medicine and pharmacy, in silico modeling, biostatistics and to bioinformatics. To solve physical or mathematical problems in the fields of medicine and pharmacy, he/she can set up a hypothesis, design a research project, use current biomedical and statistical methods to test the hypothesis and present the results of the scientific work to the scientific community.
He/she is able to further improve his/her professional qualification and practices the principles of open and reproducible science and honours the principles of ethical scientific integrity.
