Graduates are able to independently apply and develop their advanced knowledge of Danish / Norwegian / Swedish language, cultural and literary history and current issues of Scandinavian countries. They are able to pursue careers in companies trading with Scandinavia, cultural and political institutions, the media, tourism, or as translators.
The graduate is highly proficient in English at C2 level of the CEFR and has detailed knowledge of American literature and studies. They can work as a literary translator, a publisher’s editor, in the media, diplomacy, etc., and are qualified to enrol in prestigious PhD programmes.
