Graduates of the bachelor’s programme in General Linguistics have a solid understanding of the main aspects of verbal communication. They understand the nature and breadth of the field, including both the main domains of linguistic analysis and their interdisciplinary aspects, and are equipped with basic skills required in present-day linguistic research.
Graduates have acquired a comprehensive knowledge of philosophical aesthetics, including sociological and psychological aspects of art, culture and natural beauty. Graduates have also gained knowledge of the historical sources of the discipline with an overview of its conceptual shifts as well as of its contemporary development and current research topics.
