The author deals with the events in the independent/free imperial city of the Holy Roman Empire Cheb (Eger), which was a forfeit of the Kingdom of Bohemia in the Middle Ages, and follows the context of the Czech-German coexistence-. He emphasizes the deformations of the language based on the different nationalities, but he refuses the thesis on the „conflicting community“ in the Czech Lands.
In connection with some questions he assumes the inovative attitude, but some of his controversial ideas must be explaned to the reader in the wider context.
