This entry deals with the evaluation of the pedagogical research in the area of the teacher education. There is briefly balanced the fifteen-year long function of the Czech Educational Research Association (CERA) and then there are critically analyzed its experimental entries focused on the theme of teachers and their professional development.
There is evaluated the function of the Association as a research pillar for the pedagogical theory and as a methodological resource for the decisive interventions of all levels of the teacher education. The text asks the basic question if the research products of CERA have ministered to the process of the professionalism of teacher education in the last years.
