Abstract

The article focuses on Visual Art Education at two Elementary schools in Boulder (Colorado, USA) from the point of view of the art mediation. Individual examples demonstrate the connection between art project, art, culture and their relation to curriculum based learning results.

It highlights the choice of multicultural topics at two elementary schools with different social and culture student structure. The art project description of Kindergarten and the third grade is based on the observation and participant assistance of the author in Visual Art classes.
