Abstract

Sectorial research task ?Models of professional development of teachers? is focused on the analysis of the present situation in the professional training of teachers in the Czech republic. It offers the comparison in this area of education with similar systems in selected countries of Central Europe.

It will also analyse educational needs of the teachers, and to verify the influence of continuing education on the educational development and on the curricular reform, and to investigate further the possibilities of the evaluation of the results of the professional development of teachers. The final output will be the proposal and the verification of different models of the professional development of teachers.
