Abstract
The lecture presented contemporary terminology (stone epitaphium, boards, Monumentum) and tested the suitability and adequacy of current terminology. Attention was drawn to some difficult moments.
Incorrect use of the terms was illustrated by concrete examples. There were also named figural compositions typical for sepulchral monuments, and their variants.
