Early Modern Manuscripts in Czech Museums and the Possibilities of Their Utilization in the Research of the 17th and 18th Century Czech Language and Literature
Abstract
The thesis consists of two parts: first, of that portion of the 2nd part of the Inventory of the 17th and 18th Century Manuscripts form the Museum Collections in Bohemia, for which the author of the thesis is responsible, and second, of an essay which summarizes the content of both so far published parts of the Inventory and reflects upon the methodology of the research of early modern manuscripts and the possibilities of their utilization in the research of the history of not only Czech language and literature, but also the early modern culture itself.
