Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and the Degree of Cognitive Impairment

Abstract

In comparison with the control group, both bulbar and limbed subgroup of patients with the ALS form of motoric neuron degeneration had partially impaired cognitive functions. Profound impairment of cognitive functioning was found in patients with FTLD in ALS.
