First-principles study of properties of semi-Heusler (Cu,Ni)MnSb alloys

Abstract

The theoretical study is devoted to magnetic and transport properties of semi-Heusler (Cu,Ni)MnSb alloys studied as functions of the concentration of Cu atoms. Special attention has been paid to the magnetic phase transition at about 70% Cu; the corresponding changes in alloy magnetization and resistivity have been explained in terms of disordered local magnetic moments of Mn atoms.
