Abstract
Among the family of the hexagonal RTX compounds, there was discovered an interval of values of the lattice-constants ratio c/a which cannot be reached. Such an effect was observed while varying temperature or composition on the position of transition metal T up to now.
Our results concern the evoulton of the c/a ratio for (Ce,Y)PdAl compounds, i.e. compounds with substitution on the position of rare-earth elements.
