Abstract
The article offers a detailed study of Alexandre Koyré´s ideas of the modern change of understanding space and our world as presented in his book "From the Closed World to the Open Universe". The text offers analysis of two steps of Koyré´s approach - 1.) his discussion of philosphico-physicalistics concepts (space, movement, infinity) 2.)their application on the world including the ensuing loss of the hierarchy of spatial values of our lived space.
