Descriptive Geometry School-leaving Exams in Bohemia

Abstract

This article summarizes well-known information about the establishment of school-leaving exams at secondary schools in the Czech lands in the 19th century. In more detail, there is information about leaving exams at a special kind of secondary school with emphasis on natural sciences.

Special emphasis is given on leaving exams in descriptive geometry at these schools. Moreover, there are shown several examples of older leaving exercises.

At the close, there is a short mention of the present situation at secondary schools in our country.
