Abstract
The text focuses on the field of school counselling, which is an extremely important part of the educational process. It presents traditional spheres of counselling - professional counselling, counselling to students with special educational needs, counselling to students and their parents, and educational work of counsellors.
Each part is introduced from current scientific perspective and then analyzed from a view of possible evaluation.
