Abstract
The first workshop of the Czech and Polish researchers dealing with Silesia within the international project Cuius regio - the aims of which are a description of the cohesive and disruptive forces influencing the development of regions and a comparison of these regions. The workshop defined the key research subjects and opened a collaboration between the Czech and Polish team.
