Abstract

This study describes the last shots of World War II in Czechoslovakia, where German troops near the village tried Čimelice cross the Green Line into American captivity. The article traces the dramatic story of the main actors: the acting commander of the German SS in the Protectorate Carl Friedrich Graf von Pückler-Burghaus and the Czech Vaclav Norbert Count Kinsky and Prince Charles VI.
