Abstract
The essay is concerned with the crucial problems, which are brought into education to economic thinking and decision-making by the narrow concept of profit as a symbol of success. The possible solution is seen in interdisciplinary-based education, which enables the teacher to work with various criteria of economic behaviour assessment and to overcome the simplified understanding of success, reduced to a rapid realization of profit
