Medical Genetics teaching should activize medical students and should be close to their future praxis. We train construction of genetic family trees based on proposed case descriptions and consequent recognition of inheritance type.
To ameliorate the quality of this training we developed an application "Family trees". This application is used in attendance teaching where it integrates students actively in family tree construction on the interactive board.
The application is addressed to Medical Biology students in second year of their studies at Charles University - Second Faculty of Medicine. The students can also use this application at home.
Each case has more vesions. In these versions, family tree construction is eased on more levels.
