Abstract
The article deals with the problem of new social contingency, which is long-term care. Needs for long-term care are growing together with the aging of the populations and the society (the state) is not prepared to meet the needs.
The article analyzes international experiences and formulates the essences of the new contingency and possibilities how society (the state) my effectively react.
