Abstract
Monograph Microaerophilic actinomycetes and actinomycosis is concerned with taxonomy of microaerophilic actinomycetes (MAPA), their habitation, pathogenesis of the diseases caused by MAPA, disease characteristics, laboratory diagnosis, treatment of actinomycosis and other infections caused by MAPA and with epidemiology of the disease. Monograph includes detailed methodology, diagnostic tables and algorithms and 145 color photographs supporting macroscopic and microscopic phenotype identification of various bacterial species of MAPA group.
